Mt. Olympus was cool. They had a couple cool roller coasters. The best part was the big wave pool. The waves got up to nine feet.
Saturday wasn’t a very good day. We were just about to leave for breakfast at 10:00 when we got a phone call. They were doing some work in the parking lot and a rock went through the back window of our van. The whole window came out and we had to tape it up. It rained most of the day, but not too much water got in.
The manager of the resort said they would pay for the damage and gave us $100 off of our stay. To me this didn’t seem like enough. They ruined our day and it isn’t even fixed yet, because nobody could fix it until Monday. So we had to drive home 2 and a half hours with plastic on our back window.
The only other problem we had there was that the lock on our door was broken. We went through 11 keys before they finally sent up a maintenance guy to reprogram the lock. They kept telling us that it was because we were bringing the keys in the water or that we had them too close to a cell phone or digital camera. But after we went and got 4 new keys and went strait to the room and none of them worked they figured it out.
The trip was fun… but we probably wont stay at the Wilderness ever again.
