Well I realize that i haven’t updated the blog for a while. I have actually been working on a new design and it’s starting to look pretty nice. Since Christmas I haven’t really had anything original. The thing is, though, I will use this new theme on an all new blog. I started this blog before we had tags and all the fancy media options. So I have way too many categories that are really just tags that I used as categories before we could put categories on posts. There is no organization going on here.

I’m going to go for something like Matt has in terms of the media options. I’ll keep the asides going and add another hack for gallery posts. Once I get the design end of things done I’ll work on all that code. When I do eventually get the new blog up I’ll make an announcement. The current plan is to come up with a few categories that I will blog about at least everyday. I’ve also joined twitter, but I haven’t really gotten into that very much yet. I’m also planning to do the asides through there or something like that. I like what Leo Laporte has done with his twitter posts on the blog, I’m thinking something like that.

I would show a screenshot, but knowing me it probably will end up looking nothing like what I have now.
